Effects of opioids on MACBAR of inhalational anesthetics

  • In recent years, great achievements had been made in flexibility and controllability of combination of inhalational anesthetics with intravenous drugs for balanced anesthesia. Clinical literature of combined use of opioids and inhalational anesthetics were reviewed to elaborate the progresses in the studies of their interaction. The characteristics of effects of opioids on MACBAR of inhalational anesthetics were focused so as to provide beneficial references in administration of these two types of drugs rationally for safe and effective balanced anesthesia.
